문장을 연결하려면 어떻게 해야하지? 접속사로 연결해야지 뭐.

이번 포스팅에서는 and, so, because로 문장 연결하는 방법을 연습해보려고 한다.

  • 이유 설명; because로 연결
  • 벌어진 일을 순서대로 나열해서 설명할래; and로 연결
  • 벌어진 일에 대한 반응으로 어떤 일을 한 경우; so로 연결

이렇게 문장을 연결해서 얘기할 수 있다...!@!

여행 내내 우리 아버지가 운전했어

My father drove throughout the entire trip.

너 운전면허증 있지 않아?

Don't you have a driver's license?

어, 작년에 따서 심지어 차도 샀어.

Yes. I got it last year and i even bought a car.

근데 연습을 안해서 아직도 운전을 잘 못해

But I didn't practice so i can't still drive well.

But I haven't had much practice so I still can't drive well.

어머니는 시력이 너무 안 좋아서 운전을 못해

My mother can't drive because she has bad eyesight.

 

어제 뭐 했어?

What did you do?

친구랑 우리집 근처에서 밥먹고 영화봤어.

I had a meal and watched a movie with my friend near my home.

그 영화 어땠어?

How was the movie?

그냥 그랬어. 원래는 보고 싶던 영화가 아니었어. 시간이 맞지 않아서 봤어.

다음부터는 미리 영화 예매를 해야겠어.

Not bad. I didn't wanna watch it. movie time was not match so i watched it. I am going to reserve movie next time.

It was okay. It wasn't a movie I really wanted to see. I watched it because the timing didn't work out. I'll have to book my movie tickets in advance next time.

cf. timing worked out.에서 work out은 일이 제 타이밍에 일어났다 이런 의미이다.
